VENUE: The venue for the counselling is University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), (Behind Alumni House) South Campus, Sector-25, Panjab University, Chandigarh. For details please refer to website of UIAMS www.uiams.puchd.ac.in PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING POINTS REGARDING THE COUNSELLING AND ADMISSION SCHEDULE: 1. Candidate is required to appear personally for the counseling. In case the candidate has been short-listed in two or more categories, he/she is required to appear in the both counselling sessions. 2. Please Bring all the Original Degrees, Detail Marks Certificates of class 10th, 12th and qualifying examination and Migration Certificate of your last attended University to justify your claim for admission. In case of non-availability of Migration Certificate, at the time of counseling, candidate is required to submit his/her Migration Certificate before 31st August, 2012. After this date, candidate will have to bear fine as per University rules. If result of the qualifying examination has not been declared, Character Certificate from the last institution attended MUST be produced. It is absolutely necessary to produce the result of qualifying exam by August 31, 2012 by 12.00 noon, failing which the admission will be cancelled. In the absence of proof of having qualified with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), the admission shall automatically stand cancelled. A photocopy of the attested certificates must be deposited at the time of counselling.

3. Original and appropriate certificate (as per format given in the Handbook of Information) for claiming reservation under a category must be produced. Affidavit must also be produced where required. 4. In case there is a gap in your academic career, you are required to furnish an affidavit to the effect, attested by the 1st Class Magistrate, that you were not involved in an offence/ unlawful activities during the gap years. 5. The candidates will have to deposit the fee as mentioned in the following table in the form of Demand Draft in favour of REGISTRAR, PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH, payable at Chandigarh. Fee (in Rs.) 2,05,392/- (Rupees Two Lac Five Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Two only) In addition to the above fee, candidates who have done graduation from University/ Board/Council other than Panjab University, additional Rs.410/- will be charged from them on the account of Migration fee (Rs.240/-), Enrolment fee (Rs.85/-), Registration fee (Rs.85/-). 6. Candidates can also deposit the fee in two installments. First installment amounting to Rs.1,04,417/- (Rupees One Lac Four Thousand Four Hundred and Seventeen only) is to be deposited at the time of counseling. 7. Fee is to be deposited at the time of counselling and admission session. In case, candidate wishes to take loan from the bank, an extension of 10 days in deposit of fee may be granted on giving an undertaking that the candidate has applied for loan and production of proof of having applied for bank loan. 8. In addition to the tuition fee as above, the candidates will have to deposit another Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousands only) in form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, payable at Chandigarh towards Summer Training, Placement, Business Club, case unit etc. Wishing you a bright career ahead.
