This is a great “first hat” project or first project to try circular
knitting. It was designed to be engaging for new and seasoned
knitters alike.

Using smaller circular needle and with two strands of yarn held
together, cast on 96 stitches.

Join to work in the round (being careful not to twist your ring
of stitches) and place a unique marker to indicate Beginning of
Round (BOR).

Next Round: *Knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * to end

Repeat the last round, establishing 1x1 ribbing until work
