AT&T representatives were in Waynesboro last week to announce the activation of a mobile Internet cell site in Waynesboro. Pictured from left: Republican State Committeewoman Shirley Curry, Roger Smith (Chamber President), Kathy Sager AT&T, Paul Scheppf, owner of HSEC Global, Inc., Bridgette McNees, owner of Whits End Ranch, Wayne County Executive Jason Rich and Congressman Marsha Blackburn were among those who took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the latest interactive mobile application upgrades for Wayne County. This is good news for Wayne County residents who depend on their wireless devices for conducting business, gathering information and staying connected with family and friends, said Senator Dolores Gresham. These types of investments will make an immediate impact for businesses and consumers in Waynesboro. As more and more residents of Waynesboro rely on their mobile devices for information and connectivity, they need faster and faster connections, said Representative Steve McDaniel. Im pleased to see investments of mobile Internet coming to our area. This will help grow our economy and help customers stay connected and get the data they need on the go. Thanks to the leadership of our elected leaders like Senator Dolores Gresham and Representative Steve McDaniel, we are seeing companies invest in technology which is
essential for recruiting companies to our city and state, said Waynesboro City Manager John Hickman.
