INFORMATION
8.Mini Astro Turf:‌‌
-‌The Astro turf is allowed to be used before and after school, and during breaks‌ ‌
-Only Creston College pupils and PSHC members may practice on the turf.‌
-Only hockey and soccer balls are allowed to be used on the turf.‌
-If a blood injury occurs, prevent blood from dripping on the floor.‌‌
-No eating or drinking allowed on the turf.‌‌

9.Registration, arriving late and Assembly:‌‌


-Registration will happen every morning with your Class Registration teacher who will‌

-If you come to school late, you are required to go and see your Grade Head who will‌

10.Tests and Examinations:‌‌

-If you are absent for an exam or test, you are required to present a doctor’s note to

11.Notice board and Detentions:‌‌


-All announcements and detentions will be displayed on the notice board, including‌
batting for teachers who are absent.‌‌

12.School Property:‌‌
-You are expected to take care of and treat school property as if it were your own. This‌
includes furniture in classrooms, the bathrooms and any other school property you‌
use.‌‌

away your waste.‌‌
-There are recycling bins available, please make use of them.‌‌

13.Academic Cycle:‌‌
-The College Phase operates on a 10-day cycle, each with 7 lessons and 2 breaks.‌ ‌
oIf there is a school event taking place such as a swimming gala, that day will not be‌
an Academic school day. ‌

14.General:‌‌
-Ensure all your personal items are clearly marked at all times. This includes‌
stationery, clothing, sports kit and any other personal belongings.‌‌
-It is recommended that you keep any valuable items such as money and phones on‌
you at all times or locked away in your locker.‌‌
-School Photos and Sports Photos will be taken between Term 1 and 3.‌‌
If you have lost any of your belongings or found someone else’s, report to your HOD.‌

INFORMATION
1.Dress and Uniform:‌‌
-Wearing blazers is compulsory during the second and third term, and to formal events‌
such as Assembly, Honours and Awards, Prize Giving.‌
-All buttons are to be always on your blazer, on the sleeves and 2 on the front.‌‌
-Ties are to be worn to school every day unless instructed otherwise.‌
-School shoes are to be polished, and you are expected to wear the correct socks.‌‌
-You should always look neat and tidy to show pride in your uniform and school.‌‌

2.Walking on the quad:‌‌


-‌Walking and use of the quad is a privilege reserved for Matrics only. No other pupils are‌
allowed on the quad at any time.‌

3.Toilet use:‌‌
-The toilets next to the tuckshop are for the senior pupils (Grade 10-12) and first team to‌
use.‌‌
-Juniors in the first team are only allowed to use the bathrooms to change when they‌
have a match‌‌
-The toilets next to the metal staircase are for the juniors (Grade 8 and 9) pupils to use.‌‌

4.Sports and Afternoon activities:‌‌


-Sports will take place twice a week, in the afternoon until 16:00.‌‌
-All Juniors will change in their toilets.‌‌
-You are expected to attend all First Team home games to support your school.‌‌

5.Phone usage:‌‌
-All mobile phones are to be switched off during the day from the minute the first bell‌
rings and may be turned on when the last bell rings at the end of the day.‌‌
-The only time you are allowed to use your phone during school hours is with the‌ Mrs. Scholtz Ms. Yonela Mr. Rinaldo
permission of a teacher/HOD.‌
-If you are caught using your phone without permission during school hours, it will be‌
confiscated.‌

6.Phone usage:‌‌
