Passive Voice

Passive Voice คือการเน้นผู้ถูกกระทำหรือผลของการกระทำมากกว่าผู้กระทำ

ซึ่งในภาษาอังกฤษจะเปลี่ยนรูปประโยคจาก Active Voice ให้เป็ น Passive Voice
การใช้ Passive Voice ในแต่ละ Tense
1. Present Simple Tense 2. Present Continuous Tense

โครงสร้าง: S + is/am/are + V3 โครงสร้าง: S + is/am/are + being + V3

Active: They clean the house. Active: They are cleaning the house.
Passive: The house is cleaned by them. Passive: The house is being cleaned by them.

3. Present Perfect Tense 4. Past Simple Tense

โครงสร้าง: S + has/have + been + V3 โครงสร้าง: S + was/were + V3
Active: They have cleaned the house. Active: They cleaned the house.
Passive: The house has been cleaned by them. Passive: The house was cleaned by them.

5. Past Continuous Tense 6. Past Perfect Tense

โครงสร้าง: S + was/were + being + V3 โครงสร้าง: S + had + been + V3
Active: They were cleaning the house. Active: They had cleaned the house.
Passive: The house was being cleaned by them. Passive: The house had been cleaned by them.

7. Future Simple Tense 8. Future Perfect Tense

โครงสร้าง: S + will + be + V3 โครงสร้าง: S + will + have + been + V3
Active: They will clean the house. Active: They will have cleaned the house.
Passive: The house will be cleaned by them. Passive: The house will have been cleaned by
them.

เทคนิคการจำและใช้ Passive Voice

1. ใช้ Passive Voice เมื่อเน้นผู้ถูก 3. ใช้ “by” เมื่อระบุผู้กระทำ
กระทำมากกว่าผู้กระทำ แต่ถ้าไม่สำคัญสามารถละได้
2. เปลี่ยนกริยาหลักเป็ น Verb to be 4. จำรูปแบบ Verb to be ในแต่ละ
ตาม Tense และตามด้วย V3 Tense เช่น Present = is/am/are,
(Past Participle) Continuous ใช้ being, Perfect ใช้ been
