These directories are produced to market and support the growing film industry in Namibia at an International level. Many companies that film in Namibia bring their own crew, equipment and caterers, unaware that Namibia is fully capable of providing these facilities at the same standard, for less cost. The Film Production Directory Namibia is intended to be a handbook to any filmmaker entering the country. It gives an overall picture of what is available and necessary for the making of a successful film. The directory promotes filming in Namibia by showcasing all that our beautiful country has to offer from accommodation, telecommunications, tours, water suppliers, stationery, couriers, banking, transport companies to restaurants and equipment rental companies to name a few. The directory is distributed internationally to all the major film festivals with the assistance of the Namibia Film Commission as well as the Namibia Tourism Board.
