Why RM is required
Business Executives in each of the functional areas face decision making problems. Many of these problems demand systematic research. Some problems are New product launch, Sales promotion, Plant layout, plant location, capital budgeting, manpower planning etc.

H0 : Students do not consider any criteria's other than DTE procedure while taking admission into management college.
H1 : Students do consider some criteria's other than DTE procedure while taking admission into management college.

Data Collection
Primary Data was collected by designing of questionnaire. Institutes V.N.BRIMS, Welingker, IMCOST Sample size 30 students per college.

Then apply Chi- square @ 5% level of significance

we get , from table,

Total value = 16.92 Now we know that calculated value = 37.8 So calculated value > table value

37.8 > 16.92

Hence ,

Null hypothesis Ho is rejected and alternative hypothesis is accepted Thus H1 is accepted

CONCLUSION
By chi square we come to the conclusion that most of the students do consider some criteria for taking admission into the management college.
