U.S. citizenship and drivers license required to participate on the tour. After the tour, a one-day workshop on the subject of Concepts and Tools for Lean Development will be delivered. This workshop will review the various techniques in the lean development toolbox, and provide the attendees with an opportunity to assess their respective organizations strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in each category. A half-day workshop Value Stream Mapping for Lean Development will follow. Attendees will then develop a plan forward for their organizations. Both workshops will be facilitated by Drew Locher, a recognized thought leader and author in this important field. The event will be held in the National Electronics Museum. From telegraph and radio to radar and satellites, the National Electronics Museum offers attendees a chance to see the varied electronic marvels that have helped to shape our country and our world.
