It is difficult to justify space research nowadays because the economic, political and social costs of such research are far greater than its potential, yet unguaranteed, benefits.

Does the book still have a future ?


The book still has a future as long as technology is not accessible to all, and readers still see value in literally holding on to treasured copies of even more treasured literary and scholarly works .

Are the poor an inevitable feature of any society ?


The poor are an inevitable feature of any society despite efforts to reduce poverty.

How far do physical features determine a countrys progress ?


A countrys progress is greatly affected by its physical features unless it can overcome its dependence on, or the limitations of, its geography using capital, technology and other forms of innovation.
