New RSO that strives to promote cultural exchange between American and International students

Program for time-starved students to build friendships with their peers from different cultures

How This Works

We match you to a student from another culture to participate in one-on-one meetups Interests Request a culture Heavily subsided meetings so all can participate

Kickoff Dinner Keynote Speaker Ice Breakers Small Group Competitions with Prizes

Weeks 4-5: One-on-one Partner System


Coffee Chats Cultural Lunches

Plan a cultural skit/performance for closing ceremony Ex. simple play, music recital, poem reading

Week 7: Large Group Outing


Visit cultural places around Chicago Opportunity to socialize outside of partner and small groups

Dinner Presentation of Blogs and Wikis Small Group Performances (from Week 6) Closing Speech Recap Video

Program Expectations
Attendance at all meetings and events:
Opening and Closing Ceremony 2 Partner Meet-ups 2 Small Group Meet-ups 1 Large Group Event (optional) 1 Hangout

A short blog post after every meet-up/event to share your experiences of that day Dedication and a genuine passion to learn about other cultures!
