In my questionnaire I asked a total of ten people, both quantitative and qualitative questions.

This was so I can find out more about the target audience of the magazine that I produce. I asked both males and females aged between 16 -18 to answer my questionnaire to get an overall idea from both genders. This is also because I want my music magazine to be attracted towards both genders of this age group.

This question shows that the people are more likely to spend 1-1.99 on their magazine, therefore they like the price to be cheap. This is because the target audience will be teenagers therefore the price ranging from 1-1.99 is of a more affordable price.

From the results I can see that most popular magazine read from the selection of people who answered my questionnaire was Kerrang. I want to make my magazine similar to Kerrangs so it can appeal to the readers. The reason for why Kerrang was highly popular is because it is a rock magazine that is well known.

For this question, the people who answered my questionnaire, most of them said that they like the colours blue, silver and black in the magazine. This was followed by red, black and yellow which was also a popular choice. This will influence me for the colours that I will be using in my magazine.

WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING MUSIC GENRES DO YOU LISTEN TO THE MOST? From this question I can see that Rock is the most popular genre followed by Alternative. I want to make my magazine appeal to both Rock and Alternative readers.

I can see that everyone who answered my questionnaire prefers a weekly issue of the magazine. This is because they get to read the magazine on a frequent basis rather than having to wait a long period of time for the next issue.

Most of the people that answered my questionnaire said that they are most interested towards the images in the magazine, followed by the articles. From this I can see what my magazine should include more of.
