What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Producing a lm in Pakistan has always been a hard task. Since the 1980's downfall of the Pakistani cinema not many quality lms were made which led to the closure of some tremendous production houses,(eg. Eveready pictures)! However for the rst time in 30 years, the future of the Pakistani cinema is no longer in question! Pakistani lm industry underwent a rapid decline from the 1980's and it was not until 2007 release of Khuda key liye which was released under the banner of geo lms. Thereafter, other successful lms such as Bol, Ramchand Pakistani and Zinda Bhaag all of which were released under different production houses. In fall of 2013 we saw the addition of highly anticipated lm Waar (released under mandiwala entertainment and ARY lms joint venture) to the list of critically acclaimed Pakistani movies.

WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO CONSIDER OUR MEDIA PRODUCT FOR DISTRIBUTION
When working on a thriller lm, not many production houses in Pakistan come in mind that would distribute our media , if we had to see that wholl distribute our media product from the ones whore on the go nowadays, I would say it would be ARY Films which recently distributed Waar, a action packed thriller lm which recently broke all records of Pakistani cinema. So ARY lms would be willing to distribute any good project that comes in their hands.

MORE LOCAL INSTITUTIONS FOR OUR MEDIA PRODUCT

Other company that comes in mind is the Azaad Film Company formed in 2002 but didn't really release any lm until now.They are set to release their 3 back to back lms in 2014, namely Operation 021, Moor and Downward Dog. All three based on the genre Action/Thriller which might give us a boost that this might be the media institution that would distribute our media! All set to release their lms and on the verge of gaining publicity they need more and more projects right now so their name might not fade away as a company that made only 3 hits and was never seen again. Our media product is based on the recent conditions of Pakistan, which depicts a mugging and the rest to follow. Who wouldn't like to see a full action packed, beautifully executed lm?

LETS GO GLOBAL
If we plan on going international there are a dozen of institutions that might just distrbute our media. (Eg. Lionsgate Entertainment, Summit entertainment, Warner Brothers and MetroGoldwyn-Mayer) All of these companies have distributed Box Ofce hits and mostly Action/thrillers. Kill Bill a movie that completely ruled over the Box Ofce was distributed by Miramax lms and it was the called the Thriller of the year! I think with the right amount of thrill and enough bloodshed to match with Quentin Tarentinos abilities we might have just landed on to perfect company to distribute our project! What every distributor needs is the assurity that will the product allow him to gain money? But Looking at their previous records they might just be willing to take risks too!
