not only of how the teacher sets up classroom
relationships and discourse but also how the
pupils interpret what the teacher does.

Why dont my students understand what I am trying to get
them to do? I have told them what I wanted them to do but
they just dont seem to follow. I want to start my English
lesson but my pupils keep asking me questions about last
week homework. I went over the homework yesterday. What
do they want? Ill try again to get them on track so that I can
get on with the lessonNo such luck. Id better answer their
questions about last weeks homework, as they seem rather
anxious. a teacher
