To Do: Early Morning Bromo Excursion, drive to Panajakan in the rim of
Bromo Caldera and enjoy watching a spectacular scene during sunrise
(visitors from around the world come to see the sunrise over Mt Bromo).
Afterwards drive down to Mt. Bromo crossing the sea of sand then by a
local pony riding Bromo Gto the foot of the Mt. Bromo. Walk up to 246
steps straight up to the rim of the crater and experience the great view on
top.
To Stay: Guest House is located at Ngadisari that lies 3 km from the crater
rim. Or you can stay at Cemoro Lawang where there are guesthouses
situated near the crater, or in Raya Bromo Hotel.
Get There: From Juanda Airport then by car to Mt Bromo.

To Do: Visit to the island to see the Komodo dragon, an ancient animal remains to
this day. And then diving in places where conditions are still virgin, or snorkeling
in places where marine life is amazingly beautiful and clean water, or just playing
on the white sandy beach.
On the land, you will be offered with a beautiful presentation of breathtaking
panorama, high towering mountains, meandering rivers, friendly smile of local
community and also the remains of ancient buildings from the past lives.
To Stay: Some of the hotels are Jayakarta suites komodo-flores (establishment
classified as a 4 Stars middle-up size hotel management company), The Bintang
Flores Hotel (four-star hotel situated in Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia), World
Club (a beachfront Resort with Dive Centre in the Maumere Bay on the volcanic
Flores Island), Newa Sumba Resort (strategically located on the north coast of
Sumba Island).
Get There: If you are flying from Jakarta, you can take a six hour flight to Sorong
with a stopover in Manado. Alternatively, you can join a diving tour in Bali and fly
from there. There are daily ferries available between Sorong and Waisai, capital of
the Raja Ampat district on the island of Waigeo.

To Do: Wakatobi is famous with its underwater beauty. Diving and snorkeling is
the main attraction here. Tourist can also visit the Kampong Bajo Mola on Wangi-
Wangi and see the life of the local Bajo sea nomads. There are also a number of
interesting forts on Wangi-Wangi. There are also best beaches such as the Hoga
Beach, Sombano Beach, Peropa Beach, Puncak Jamaraka and The Untete Beach
(longest white sand beach on Tomia with endless rows of coconut trees and
mangrove forest).
To Stay: Of the four main islands, Tomia Island was the first to be developed. The
Wakatobi Dive Resort here offers luxurious accommodation from Villas to Beach
bungalows and garden bungalows. Such as: The Patuno Resort, Nita Sari, Gajah
Mada II, Jelly dan Setiana, Lamongan.
Get There: Express Air is the only regular airline that flies from Jakarta to Bau-
Bau, in Southeast Sulawesi, and continues to land on Wakatobis Matohara
Airport on Wangi-Wangi.
Other airlines flying to Bau-Bau from Jakarta, Bali or Surabaya are Garuda
Indonesia, Lion Air, Batavia Air and Sriwijaya Airline. From here you must take a
boat to Wakatobi.

Toraja nearby
To Do: Explore the traditional Pasar Bolu market where you can get top end
Toraja coffee beans, or may can find necklaces of antique beads. To see a model
Toraja settlement, visit the village of Kete Kesu, where you find a row of
beautifully decorated Tongkonan or ancestral homes and rice barns. At Suaya
are the kings family graves, while at nearby Sangala are the tree-graves of babies.
At Lemo are the hanging graves of the nobility, where crypts are carved high
into steep rock cliffs, and wooden effigies of the deceased.
To Stay: Visitors who wish to stay in the heart of Toraja have many choices since
there are many large and small hotels available , such as: The Toraja Heritage
Hotel and the Toraja Prince Hotel are three star hotels located in Rantepao. the
one star Misiliana Toraja Hotel, The Indra Toraja Hotel.
Get There: To get to Tana Toraja one must fly to Sultan Hasanuddin airport in
Makassar, capital of the province of South Sulawesi. As a hub for East Indonesia
there are many airlines flying to and from Makassar both from Jakarta, Bali,
Manado and other cities . The only way to Toraja from Makassar airport is
overland.

There are department stores to boutiques, to roadside stalls. Popular night spots on Kuta include the

Sanur: Watersports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, surfing or paragliding. For those
who are less active, hire a banana boat and hit the calm waters. For one of a kind experience, you
should try the Sea Walker.
Nusa Dua: Besides going for meetings and conventions, Nusa Dua offers some of Balis best Spas for
ultimate pampering and relaxation. There are also good golf courses and Olympic sized swimming
pools.

Kuta: There are plenty of taxis that can take you to Kuta beach
Sanur: Located within the vicinity of Denpasar, the capital of Bali, Sanur is a 20 minute taxi ride from
the Ngurah Rai International Airport. There are plenty of metered taxis. Sanur is also well serviced by
shuttle buses and bemos from the north and south and also from Denpasar's Tegal terminal.
Nusa Dua: is easily accessible from Balis Ngurah Rai airport directly by a wide highway. Hotels usually
provide their own transportation. There is a shuttle bus between the hotels in Nusa Dua.
