MoneyLIFE Magazine.

Has obtained a B. Sc Degree from Karnatak University and


Bachelors Degree in Law from University of Mumbai.
In 1992, she was awarded Femina Woman of Substance Award,
the Chameli Devi Award for excellence in journalism and
in 2006, she was awarded the PADMASHRI for her contributions.
Dalal is the co-author of The Scam: Who Won, who Lost, who Got Away,
and the author of A. D. Shroff: Titan of Finance and Free Enterprise.
KHUSHWANT SINGH

Worked mainly as Political Journalist.


Has worked for leading dailies like The
Illustrated Weekly of India, The National
Herald and Hindustan Times.

He was educated at Government College, Lahore, St Stephens, Delhi


and Kings College, London.
He was awarded the PADMA BHUSHAN in the year 1994 and
PADMA VIBHUSHAN in 2007.
He was also a popular novelist; his landmark novel being TRAIN TO
PAKISTAN.
His weekly column- WITH MALICE TOWARDS ONE AND ALL
appeared in several leading dailies.
T. N. NINAN

Is a leading Finance Journalist.


He formerly worked with The
Economic Times, Business World
and India Today magazines.

Presently he is the Editor and Publisher of Business


Standard.
He has an M. A (Economics) degree from Madras
University.
He was responsible setting new trends in business
journalism that can still be seen today.
His weekly column "Weekend Ruminations" is widely read
among the business community and senior economists and
economic bureaucrats.

He is a recipient of several awards.


ARUN SHOURIE
Was a leading Political Journalist.
Was the Editor of Indian Express and
Times of India.
Was educated at St Stephens, Delhi
and was awarded a doctorate in
Economics from Syracuse University,
U. S. A.
He exposed several major scandals, including what has been dubbed
“India’s Watergate”. Shourie started a one-man crusade in 1981
against Abdul Rehman Antulay, the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra
State, who allegedly extorted millions of dollars from businesses
dependent on state resources and put the money in a private trust
named after Indira Gandhi .
For his exemplary contribution, he has been awarded International
Editor of the Year Award and also the PADMA BHUSHAN by the
Government of India.

Rajdeep Sardesai
Presently working for CNN-IBN, one of India’s
popular English language News channels.

Previously worked as the the Managing Editor of NDTV news channel.


Rajdeep graduated from St. Xaviers College in Mumbai and later
studied at Oxford University.

He has hosted some of the most appreciated and popular shows on


television, like The Big Fight on NDTV, and he has received
accolades for his reportage on the Gujarat Riots.

Rajdeep has won several awards including the ATA (Asian Television
Awards) in 2003 and 2004, Best News Anchor Award at the Indian
Television Awards (ITA) 2003 and 2004,
Impact Person of the Year Award (2006), among others.
Barkha Dutt

Dubbed as the most recognized woman


journalist in India.
Presently works for NDTV.
Apart from a Bachelors degree in literature,
Barkha has obtained a Masters degree in
Journalism from Columbia University
Graduate School of Journalism.
She has won appreciation for her coverage of the 1999 Kargil war,
Tsunami disaster and more recently the Mumbai terror attacks.
She has been the receipient of the PADMA SHRI, The Inlaks
Scholarship in 1997, Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award
(2005-2006) to mention a few.
Vikram Chandra
Another NDTV product, Vikram Chandra has over
a decade’s experience in television journalism.
He was educated at St Stephens, Delhi and went on
to do a course in Mass Media in Stanford
University.

He has currently taken over as the host of ‘The Big Fight’ and can also be
seen on NDTV Profit’s ‘Gadget Guru’.
Vikram Chandra’s simple and lucid style of delivering news has struck a
chord with the Indian audiences.
At the World Economic Forum at Davos, he was named ‘Global Leader for
Tomorrow’ for his exemplary contribution.
Shereen Bhan

Shereen Bhan is presently working as the


Delhi Bureau Chief and Executive Editor of
CNBC-TV18.

She graduated from St.Stephen’s College and went on to obtain a


Master’s in Film and Television from Pune.
She is seen on shows such as India Business Hour, Power Turks,
Young Turks and The Good Life Show.
Previously she was the associate editor with UTV.
She was named ‘FICCI Woman of the Year 2005’.
