A.HISTORY WATER BIRT

The use of warm water pool for labor is a

relatively new phenomenon in western countries.
During the 1960s, Russian researcher Igor
Charkovsky that examines the safety and potential
benefits of water birth in the Soviet Union

Water Birth is one of the alternative methods

of vaginal delivery, where pregnant women
at term without complications of childbirth
by way of soaking in warm water with the
aim of reducing the pain of contraction and
gives a comfortable sensation.

D.PURPOSE

Giving birth in the water will facilitate adaptation

to the baby from the mother's womb outside world.
Expected, the transition from the mother's womb to
the outside world is not too drastic, so as to reduce
the possibility of injury to the fetus. In addition,
this method is expected to reduce the stress in the
mother, labor pain, uterine contractions will be
more effective, perineal elasticity increases, so
