MOD

Mod (originally modernist) is a subculture that originated in


London in the late 1950s and peaked in the early to mid 1960s.

Significantelements
Significant of the mod lifestyle
included pop music,such as African American
soul, Jamaican ska (Ska is a music genre
that originated in Jamaica in the late
1950s), and British beat music and R&B;
fashion (often tailor-made suits);
suits and Italian
motor scooters.
From the mid to late 1960s, the mass media often
used the term mod in a wider sense to describe
anything that was believed to be popular, fashionable
or modern.

PUNK
The punk subculture is based around
punk rock.

unique expressions of punk culture.

The first rockers were primarily (главным образом) known
for their motorcycles, but by the 1960s, their subculture
became associated with a specific music genre and clothing

artists such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry,

Hippie
The hippie subculture was originally a youth
movement that began in the United States during
the early 1960s and spread around the world.
The first, who called themselves "hippies" in
1965 were supporters of civil rights for
African-Americans in the Southern USA.

Late that year, a murderer named Charles


Manson who posed as a hippie killed several
people, and because some people blamed
hippies for this, the term began to fall a
little out of fashion in 1970, even if the
fashions themselves did not.

The goth subculture is a

countries. It began in the United Kingdom
