Alarm mean:
TX/RX path have high VSWR value (> 1.5)
When we received VSWR alarm:
1. Prepare tools
(32-key,cutter,skoteck,.)
2. Prepare RF jumpers 0.5 inch
3. Prepare site master instrument
4. we arrive the site, then, in case of BTS3812E,we check RF
path by site master to specify problem at any faulty
distance, then, check RF cable path (inner jumper or
outer jumper or jumper after TMA till Ant.)
5. in case of DBS 3800 or 3900, we check RF jumper (cable
&connectors) connected between RRU and ANT.
6. in case of Micro, we check RF jumper connected between
RRU and Duplexer ( i.e. Duplexer collect 2G&3G to ANT.)
Alarm mean:
Diversity branch sense with bad quality at receiving
signal.
When we received this alarm (i.e. :
1. Prepare tools
(32-key,cutter,skoteck,.)
2. Prepare RF jumpers 0.5 inch
3. we arrive the site, then, we disconnect RX branch from
top of cabinet
4. We monitor if alarm cleared, we replace RF jumper of RX
branch.
5. If not cleared,so,RX branch sense with external
interference.
6. We confirm with the NOC,alarm was external.
RX branch abnormal .4
-
Alarm mean:
RX branch disconnected or not sense with cabinet
Alarm mean:
The services or traffic for one sector of 3G system not indicated for
users.
When we received this alarm
1. Prepare tools
(in case of DBS: Fiber cable, optical module,RRU
in case of BTS 3812E : MTRU,MAFU,TMA,RF jumper)
2. We going to site, then we call the NOC to check alarms with its
arrangement that caused to cell down.
3. If alarms start with optical interface abnormal then, reminder alarms,
so, optical cable has problem.
4. If alarms start with TRX optical module debased abnormal (alarm specify
its location may be inner or outer module, so, optical module has
problem.
5. If alarms start with RRU communication abnormal, so, RRU has a
problem (may be hanging, power cut off or faulty internal BRD or RF
jumper disconnected)

Alarm mean:
The services or traffic for all sector of 3G system not indicated for
users.
Prepare tools
(in case of DBS: BBU 3806 or BBU3900 with WMPT
in case of BTS 3812E : NMPT or NUTI or HBBI)
We going to site, then we call the NOC to check site alarms with its
arrangement that caused to site down (i.e. you must sure that site
not down due to power problem).
If alarms start with BBU BRD faulty or BRD bootp failure, so, we
reset BBU BRD or NMPT, if not solved ,replace them.
If alarms start with E1T1 loss of signals or IMA Link Loss Of Frame
or IMA/UNI Link Loss Of Cell Delineation, so, we check E1T1 by
making physical loop back toward Node B, if ok, continue toward
RNC, if not ok, so ,there transmission problem, if loop toward Node
B not seen, so, we need change BBU BRD or WMPT or NUTI.
If alarms start with local cell unusable for all cells, so, we check
HBBI by reset it, if problem still found, we replace it.
Alarm mean:
part of site capacity loss, this causes part of calls drop
down ,not all site down (due to 3G system work in WCDMA).

We going to site, then we call the NOC to check which E1T1 has alarm
If alarms start with E1T1 loss of signals or IMA Link Loss Of Frame or
IMA/UNI Link Loss Of Cell Delineation, so, we check E1T1 by making
physical loop back toward Node B, if ok, continue toward RNC, if not ok,
so ,there transmission problem, if loop toward Node B not seen, so, we
need change BBU BRD or WMPT or NUTI.
Alarm mean:
main power for APM cabinet disconnected and detected by
Rectifier controller BRD of cabinet.
Alarm mean:
one rectifier module of APM rectifier system off.
Alarm mean:
Door of APM cabinet open without confirmation from NOC.
