Allah’s Blessings

Reasons why I love Pakistan

Jasmine – National Flower of Pakistan

1. The people who complete me

This is the place where my Mother used to sooth me down when I
couldn’t even cry due to fear at night when the neighbor’s dog barked.

This is the place where my Father held my finger and took me to

mosque for Jummah prayer for the first time.

This is the place where my sisters used to stay awake with me to help
me prepare for my exam next morning.

This is the place where I met my wife and a beautiful journey of love
and care initiated.

This is the place where my friends taught me the meaning of friendship

and camaraderie.

This is the place where I have learnt the value of relationships.

2. We are not Alone

This country came into existence with support of Allah Almighty, as
the Muslims of sub-continent were not strong enough in force and
resources. The whole world was amazed and astonished that this
feeble lot of people actually achieved what they were fighting for.
The world doesn’t know…Allah took us to our destination.

It has been 62 years, we started off with ZERO and still managed to
stay alive as a separate nation, when the whole world was thinking
that we will give-up due to difficulties and come back begging. They
didn’t know…Allah gave us courage and kept us alive in face of
adversity.

Every one complains about our political leaders and the flaws in the
system. These complaints have been there from the beginning; we
are still moving ahead; we are still alive. We don’t realize…Allah is
protecting our country and there is no flaw in HIS system.
The Glorious National Identity

3. I am Someone
I’ve lived abroad and though my family was quite affluent, I was
treated as a second grade citizen. I was a foreigner; an alien. But
this land is my own, I have an identity over here…I am Someone.

In a distant land, my life was more comfortable, but I was

humiliated by the natives; my ego was crushed whenever I was
frowned upon. Over here, my life has material disadvantages, but
I have reasons to be confident; I am not a burden on someone
else; whatever I am…I am Someone.

Even with flaws in the system; even with less material resources;
this country has given me an opportunity to become what I am.
If the country has given me difficulties, it has also given me the
means to overcome these difficulties. My life and my career
might not be very radical, but I’m far better than what I was…I
am Someone.
We are THE humans

4. The values I’m proud of

This is the place where I’ve seen families stick together through
thick and thin, when the so-called developed world is lost in
solitude when emotions and troubles strike.

This is the place where I’ve seen relatives pray for your well-
being and share the joy of success with you, when the natives of
western countries are on their own in pursuits of happiness.

This is the place where friends and neighbors come in to rescue

you from troubles and financial crisis even when they
themselves are stuck in similar situations.

This is the place where people will actually cry and be

devastated when you die. Your absence will be felt beyond the
day of your funeral.

A Humble Prayer
Oh Almighty! Bless this country with your Divine Love and keep on loving
us. We are not wise; we are flawed; we can damage ourselves; we don’t have
the wisdom; our approach and tolerance is limited. Only YOU can save us
from harm. Oh Allah! please Don’t lift Your hand from our Heads. Please
save us from self-destruction. Only You have the Power to save us. (Ameen)

Oh Almighty! Bless me and my countrymen with the vision to identify the

path of righteousness. Please enable us to become what YOU desire us to
become. (Ameen)

Oh Almighty! Save our beloved motherland from external and internal

threats. Please take us in Your AMMAAN, Please provide us shelter of your
Love. (Ameen)

Oh Almighty! You have blessed me with a wonderful life in this motherland.

Please bless me also with the honor of dying on a land none other than this.
Bless my fossils with the honor of contributing in the fertility of this land so
blessed with Your blessings. (Ameen)
