Oh Mighty Africa, O Ghana

“Akwaaba” – I am welcome
and God speaks to my soul!
Called by faith, we traveled
to commission boreholes
and to be in solidarity with
the people of Ghana
We were privileged to
journey in common faith
into 4 villages in the
Northern Region and
witness the living out of the
Gospel of love
The roads led to…
Northern Region Landscape
Hospitality and gratitude
were experienced thanks
to “Living Water’s”
generosity.

Two villages received

your water. We were
able to visit one.

emerge and is very painful

around gauze and dresses the wound
CLEAN WATER is the
solution to the problem

Thank you, supporters of

W.A.T.E.R. for loving your
neighbors across the world
We traveled to Kumasi to learn
about Buruli Ulcer
Buruli Ulcer is believed to be a water born
disease found in tropical climates

The bacteria enters an open scratch and

can be treated best when caught at the
nodule stage. Once the nodule becomes
ulcerated, it spreads rapidly
Some of the slides were difficult to watch
W.A.T.E.R. together with Ghana
Health Service is investigating
this disease to see if we might
have an impact by putting in
boreholes
The director of the Buruli Ulcer Medical Center in
Kumasi gave us a tour of the facility
“Lord, when were you ill…and we took care of
you?”
W.A.T.E.R. thanks Living Water
for making an enormous
difference in the villages of
Ghana.
