Scoring more in Physics and Chemistry has helped him push to top

General psyche of medical students

Students tend to focus more on biology

Tend to neglect Physics and Chemistry

Biology is not as logic driven as compared to Physics and Physical

chemistry, these require visualization of the problems

After biology, chemistry is the scoring subject for many!!

Physical chemistry is tough for many as this involves solving of

numericals again

They lack Numerical solving ability (lack of basics in Mathematics)

Basic knowledge of mathematics is necessary!! (trigonometry,

vectors, Basic coordinate geometry, basic calculus should be known to you)

to solve the numerical problems of physics

Study, Practice, Evaluate and Improve!!

Understand the concepts revise them from notes available on embibe

Practice theoretical and conceptual problems which are available for

each of the chapter, topic and concepts on embibe.com

The questions are sorted in the increasing level of difficulty

helping you to cover questions of all the difficulty levels

Solve previous year question papers

Take chapterwise tests, part tests and full length tests, evaluate

your self, find out your weak points and improve

In the exam, attempt easy questions before and then come back to

difficult level questions

Almost 90% students on embibe waste time on questions they don't

even attempt. Make sure you're not making this mistake!

Here are a few tips to reduce 'time spent on questions not attempted'
1.

You should ideally check out all the 45 questions in a subject

before starting to attempt the paper. @embibe we call this the First
Look
2.

You need to have a deep understanding of your strengths and

weaknesses
3.

This understanding should then be used to decide which questions to

answer and which not to

4.

In the first look, only those questions should be answered in which

you are 100% confident

5.

Questions which are difficult or are from your weakest concepts

should be tackled in the end
