MARACAIBO SUBWAY

The Maracaibo Subway is an urban

railway constructed for covering
the needs of an useful public
transportation system.
The railway has some sort of green tones, made of
iron and steel. With a kind of modern and cultural
style inspired by The General Rafael Urdaneta
Bridge, the whole project was about to be built in
the 90s, but it wasnt until 2006 when The
Goverment finally decided to set up this process.
Being such a controversial subway that was
promised to have over 17 stations, its sad to say
that at the moment it has 6, that means that the
route only goes from Altos de La Vanega to Curva
de Molina.
Nowadays, The Maracaibo Subway hasnt been
efficient at all because of its lack of security and
also its short route that doesnt even pass over
some other essential avenues of the city.
