Damage Control

Setting the scene


You are currently living in Nepal, when a massive earthquake
hits where you are living. You are all living very different lives,
and are all left differently affected.
You find each other, and have to work together, using each
others resources and skills to survive in a changed city
where there are no laws.
You have been left with minimal resources, and just the
people around you to help get you through.
Your task is to work out what your group needs most, how
you are going to get it, and how you can work together, to
get through the crisis.

Group 1
Married couple; both 65 years of age.
No children
Live in a big house that was left partially damaged by the
earthquake.
Large amounts of money.
Female is left with a large cut on her right arm from a falling
tree branch.
Male has arthritis.
Large amounts of food.

Group 2
Family; father (39), mother (37), son 1 (8), son 2 (6),
daughter (2)
A middle class family, your house is left in a stable condition
condition.
Father is a builder.
Mother is a nurse.
Left with no food/water following the disaster.

Group 3
Homeless man, 27 years old.

No money.
No food/water.
No home.
Knowledge of the streets; where/how to get access to food.
Left in a stable condition health wise after the disaster.

Group 4
Group of 21 year olds; 2 female, 2 male.

Minimal money.
Minimal food/water.
High levels of energy.
From a health standpoint, you are left in very good shape.
Your house was destroyed.

Update
Group 1:
The wifes cut has now become infected.
Group 2:
A power line has fallen over part of the house, rendering it unlivable. Your
father is, however, trying to fix it, so he will be unable to help others during this
time. Further to this, your daughter has developed a bad disease, youre unsure
what it is.
Group 3:
You stumble across an abandoned supermarket, no one else seems to know is
still holding clean food and water.
Group 4:
Due to your high levels of health, and curious nature, you find medication in a
nearby pharmacy.
