It was very hot day. The little ant


walked slowly. He was very thirsty. He
walked slowly to the river. Suddenly, the
rush of the water carried him away. He cried
for help.

High up on the tree, a dove sat. He heard
the ant cry. He looked down to see him.
He plucked a leaf and let it fall to the river.
The ant reached for the leaf and climbed onto it.
The leaf took the ant to the side. The ant
thanked to the dove.

Minutes later, a hunter came. He stood
under the tree. He watched the dove closely.
His gun was ready to shoot. The ant knew it.
He stung the hunter on the head. The hunter
shouted in pain. He threw down his gun. The
noise he made caused the dove to fly. The dove
thanked to the ant.
