AWS A5.18: ER70S-6

Copper coated, low carbon steel wire specially
formulated for optimum performance under CO2 and
Argon/CO2 mixed gases. Suitable for welding mild
and medium strength steels. Is ideal for positional
welding of sheet steel and steel pipes/tubes where
high silicon content promotes smooth even weld
beads with excellent edge wetting and contour.

AWS A5.28: ER80S-B2

Copper coated precision layer wound wire specifically
designed for welding creep resistant steels containing
1.0-1.25Cr and 0.4-0.6Mo and operating at service
temperatures up to 500C. Also used for welding heat
treatable steels of similar composition commonly found in
petro-chemical and power generating industries
