1% for Kids
The advocacy group I signed the petition for was

called 1% for kids.

This is a 1% surcharge on individuals who make over
250,000 a year, to give to hire back many teachers
who were fired due to budget cuts.

Representative contacted
The petition is to be delivered to Pat McCrory who is

the governor of North Carolina

He has not received the petition yet. It is waiting on
more signatures.
