Symbian^3: Single Tap Contribution
Ixonos, a global professional services company, contributed the "Single Tap Enhancement" to Symbian.
In S^2, list items required two taps to open; the first positioned the focus, while the second activated the
focused item.
With the Ixonos contribution, a single tap opens a list item, making the UI easier to use through greater
consistency.
