AERODYNAMIC DESIGN CONSIDERATION

FOR STREAMLINED AND BLUFF

BODIES,FOR REDUCTION IN DRAG FORCES.

ABSTRACT
Aerodynamic design consideration for stream lined
and bluff bodies to reduce drag and vortices
formation.
Bluff bodies: Reduction in formation of large vortices
in there wake for Huge buildings (Bluff body).
Stream lined Bodies : Converting bluff body to
streamlined body to reduce drag forces, formed due
to boundary layer formation over the surface.(high
speed train, car etc)
