- Presentation on working and operation of CNC Milling .

Literature survey
1. The first NC machines were built in the 1940s and 1950s, based on existing tools that were
modified with motors that moved the controls to follow points fed into the system on punched
tape.
2. The coordinate measuring machine first appeared at the International Machine Tool exhibition in
Paris in 1959 exhibited by the British company Ferrantihaving deliveredthe worlds first
commercially available general purpose computer in 1951.
3. Geometric error measurement and compensation of machines
. H. Schwenke, W. Knapp
4. Accuracy test of five-axis CNC machine tool with 3D probeball.
Part I: design and modeling
5. Accuracy enhancement of five-axis CNC machines through real-time error compensation
6. Methodology of off-line software compensation for errors in the
machining process on the CNC machine too.
