Definition
A mutual fund is an investment vehicle made up
of a pool of funds collected from many investors for the
purpose of investing in securities such as stocks, bonds,
money market instruments and similar assets.

Information of HDFC AMC


HDFC mutual fund has been constituted as a trust in
accordance with provisions of the Indian Trust Act,
1882.
HDFC trustee company limited works as a TRUSTEE.
The trust deed has been registered under Indian
Registration Act, 1908.
HDFC AMC has been registered under SEBI on June
30, 2000.
HDFC AMC acquired Morgan Stanley MF in 2013
and Zurich India MF in 2003.

How Mutual Fund Works ?


There

are 10 people, each of them invest Rs.


1,00,000 in mutual fund.
NAV of one HDFC unit = Rs. 10
HDFC AMC invested those Rs. 10 lakh(1 lakh unit),
which becomes Rs. 15 lakh after 1 year.
HDFC AMCs fee = 2% = Rs. 30,000.
Remaining Rs. 14.7 lakh will distributed to investors.
Price of 1 unit now becomes Rs. 14.7
New Investor comes to invest Rs. 1,00,000, then
he/she will get 6802.7211(1,00,000/14.7) units.
