Conclusion

Tempe and soymilk, both can help to reduce


blood glucose level, increase insulin secretion
and improve pancreatic beta-cells. But, tempe
has a better antidiabetic effect than soymilk
because isoflavone aglycones in tempe are
biologically more active than isoflavone
glycosides in soymilk.
