The document describes the development of skills in Photoshop through a series of poster and magazine cover projects. It discusses learning how to use tools like the erase, radius, and smudge tools to modify images and create different effects. It also covers incorporating multiple images, banners with filled colors, gradients on text and banners, and including both color and black and white elements in the final magazine cover project. Overall it reflects on the progress made in Photoshop skills through completing these assignments.

assigned was to recreate the Bourne identity poster. The first thing I learnt to do was erase the hard edges of my outline using the crop and erase tools. The next thing I did was use the radius effect to change the whole look of my poster this let me keep the focus on and distort the rest of the image. Finally I decided to have my poster in black and white by making it negative and making the overall look of the poster change.
The second poster I
attempted to create was the stepfather. In this poster I had to fit together to separate images by free transforming them without distorting and fitting them together. Furthermore for the texts I used a smudge tool which managed to make the poster look more sinister. Finally to finish the poster off again I decided to have the overall look of the to be black and white as it seem to work well with this particular poster.
In my third poster I fitted three
images in together by once again free transforming them. In this third poster I learnt how to include banners by selecting a area then using the bucket tool to fill a space allocated with colour as you can see with the red lines dividing the images. Finally I also learnt how to use gradients on both texts and banners as you can see in the poster.to do this you had to select the gradient effect and choose what colour the gradient should fade into and weather the gradient should go horizontal or vertical
Finally I created a sight and
sound based magazine cover on photo shop.i managed to incorporate many of the techniques I learnt as well as a few new skills such as Making my poster black and white which is typical of the sight and sound to do. While also including there vibrant yellow masthead. This is the first project that I have used both colour and black and white together. Furthermore I managed also just add separate images such as the BFI and barcode place on the magazine. I also managed to include a variety of texts which I have previously not done within photoshop as well as including a banner . Overall I think I have massively made progress on Photoshop as I have never used it before and these projects show how my skills have developed and how I can now use Photoshop effectively
