Justification of location, and people

For our colony we chose Site C because it has a long growing season and
there are many small islands that will shelter us from the sea.
We decided to have 9 farmers because they are vital to the survival of
any colony.we chose 5 blacksmiths because we will need tools and
weapons to defend ourselves and survive.we decided to have 10 warriors
or policemen because in order for a colony to be successful, we need
law and order.Having 5 fishermen will ensure that in case crops fail, we
will have a backup source of food.Having 4 leaders will ensure that incase
one goes power hungry, the other 3 can subdue them and prevent the
colony from falling into anarchy. 3 cooks will cook the food and will
oversee the storage of surplus production from the farms and fisheries. 4
teachers will ensure that the future generation will have basic skill in
order to continue the colony. Having 4 apothecaries will ensure that
medicine will be made and distributed only when absolutely necessary.
An astronomer will help with determining the growing season and
determine what day it is.

Justification of Maps
Inside the Camp

The Shame Hole is at the

centre of the colony because
its what keeps our colony
together. Without it our people
would fall into anarchy.
The Shame hole is 30 ft deep
to ensure that no one escapes.
The homes are facing east so
that they can capture the
warmth of the rising sun.
The blacksmith forgery will be
located in a rocky area to
avoid wildfires.
We built a wall around our
colony to keep it safe from
attack.

Location

We are located a safe distance

away from rivers incase of
flooding.
We have taken control of
nearest tribe and we are
currently using them as a
source of initial for the new
land.
We are using the rivers for
fishing and as a water source.
The forests provide valuable
resources such as timber,
meat, fur, and camouflage
from other settlers.
The Islands by the ocean will
protect us from overseas
attack.
