BEHAVIOR 1.1
Make Ethical decisions by applying
the standards of the NASW Code
of Ethics, relevant laws and
regulations, models for ethical
decision-making, ethical conduct
of research, and additional codes
as appropriate to context.

There are many clients that participate in the foster care services.
Following the NASW Code of ethics is very important especially the
commitment to clients and adhering to confidentiality. Also making
ethical decisions when it comes to the well-being of clients.

BEHAVIOR 1.2
Use reflection and self regulation
to manage personal values and
maintain professionalism in
practice situations.

There were many cases that were reviewed that I did not agree with the
behavior of clients. However, I had to still remain professional without
using facial expressions that suggest I did not agree.

BEHAVIOR 1.3
Demonstrate professional
demeanor in behavior;
appearance; and oral, written, and
electronic communication.

Each day it is required to dress and communicate in a professional


manner.

BEHAVIOR 1.4
Use technology ethically and
appropriately to facilitate practice
outcomes.

Most times technology is used to complete notes, communicating and


filing documents.

BEHAVIOR 1.5
Use supervision and consultation
to guide professional judgement
and behavior.

Some patients are allowed supervised visitations. These visitations must


have supervision and professional judgement before reunification can be
given to parents. These visitations are able to demonstrate parents
interactions with children.
