Alternatively, visitors can also hike up Gunung Brinchang through a jungle trail that starts near Brinchang town.
The detour begins at left along the main road after the police station, leading to a gravel track that reaches a
small settlement (actually an army quarters). Look for a signboard that indicates the start of jungle walk No 1;
enter the forest, and you'll soon be on the 3km trail that leads up to the peak. The hike is actually quite easy for
moderately fit people and the trail marked by ribbons and red markings on trees. If the trail seems to end
abruptly, look carefully behind you - some junctions may be obscured by dense foliage, or happens to break into
a near vertical climb across tree trunks that makes it hard to notice.

Di sini saya nak memperkenalkan satu kedai makan yg sedap, bagus & istimewa di Cameron
Highland..takde laa istimewa sangat pun, cumanya kuantiti makanan tu banyak & bagus, tak
macam kedai2 lain di Tanah Tinggi ni..
Saya ni bukannya jenis suka snap gambar kalau waktu makan, tapi kalau saya snap & kongsi
gambar tu, maknanya memang sedap laa..saya akan snap gambar bila :
1) makanan tradisional Kelantan mcm nasi kerabu, kuih akok, nasi Kak Wok & etc. sbb nak bagi
kwn2 yg tinggal di luar Kelantan tu lepas rindu..kalau anak jati Kelantan yg kerja di luar negara tu
mmg diaorg akan sakit hati laa..mmg nangis tak berlagu bila tengok gambar2 tu... hahahaa
2) kedai tu memang betul2 berkualiti, perkhidmatan bagus & berbaloi pergi..biasanya gerai2 yg
murah, tak suka restoran mahal2, habis duit
Nama kedai ini adalah Cafe Lorong..kecil je saiz kedai ni, meja tak banyak..tetapi sbb ramai tak
kenal kedai ni & dh tentu laa yg datang Cameron Highland (CH) nak merasa makan kek & minum

As I've mentioned in myearlier post, we were lucky to find Normah to be around during our trip.
There are many times they have to travel all over Malaysia to attend seminar or fairs and in fact
they just got back from KL. So, if you intend to go over for some chocolates and bread, do call first.
Capt'n Hook arranged to visit her and she toasted some of the plain white bread that her hubby,
Badrul, have made and served them with butter and kaya. On top of that she made some
scrambled eggs which we did not touch as the bread was already very very good with butter!
The bread is soft, fluffy and tasted a bit buttery... like I've mentioned before just like those loaves
you get from Sun Moulin but at a fraction of its price! I can't remember how much per loaf but
definitely below RM3. No wonder they have many Japanese clients who are staying around the
area patronising them. We were told a couple who owned a holiday home nearby will always bring
40 - 50 loaves back to KL!!!
These loaves are delivered all over Cameron Highlands but if you wish to enjoy some, you can
drop by Uncle Chow Kopitiam for a couple of slices but then again that also depends on the
availability of supply. Alternatively, just buy direct and bring some back.
