• 2.1 Apply and communicate understanding of the importance
of diversity and difference in shaping life experiences in
practice at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
Refrain from having personal biases about diverse clients.
Do not personally feel offended if diverse clients have different
opinions from myself.

constituencies as experts of their own experiences.
Empower clients to where they feel like they are in control
of their own lives. Analyze specific problems in rural areas.

values in working with diverse client?
As I work at Hoke County Department of Social Service, I
will be working with several families from different cultures of
background and gain awareness of their beliefs and values. I
will always keep my own opinion of my own personal beliefs
and values to myself. I will respect the clients regardless of
their differences.
