Loading the License File
1. On the Netnumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > License Management.
2. On the License tab, select the NetNumen node.
3. On the License Detail Info tab, click the (Update License Info) button.

4. Select the License file and click Open.

Creating a USPP
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the NetNumen node.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select USPP CONFIGURATION
MANAGEMENT > USPP NODE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT > CREATE USPP
(CREATE USPP).
Creating a Network Element Agent
1. On the Netnumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > Topology Management.
2. On the Physical View tab, right-click the NetNumen node and then select Create NE
Agent from the pop-up menu.

Starting a Network Element Agent
1. On the Netnumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > Topology Management.
2. On the Physical View tab, right-click the NE agent under the NetNumen node, and then
select NE Agent Management > Start from the pop-up menu.
Updating USPP
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal to
open the MML Terminal window.
2. Select the NetNumen node.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select USPP CONFIGURATION
MANAGEMENT > USPP SNO MANAGEMENT > SHOW USPP SNO to open the
SHOW USPPSNO command interface.
4. Click the Execute(F5) button or press F5 to query the latest version of the OMM.
5. On the MML commands navigation tree, select USPP CONFIGURATION
MANAGEMENT > USPP SNO MANAGEMENT > UPDATE USPP to open the
command interface shown in the following figure.
Validating the License
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > License Management.
2. On the License tab, select the NetNumen node.
3. On the License Detail Info tab, click the (License Info Enable) button.
Uploading the License to OMM Server
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > License Management.
2. On the License tab, select the NetNumen node.
3. On the License Detail Info tab, click the (License Info Synchronization) button.
Adding a Network Element on OMM
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select root from the NetNumen navigation tree.
3. On the MML Commands navigation tree, select System Maintenance > Net Element
Configuration > Create Management Configuration (ADD NE).
Adding a USPP Physical Office
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the NetNumen node.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select USPP CONFIGURATION
MANAGEMENT > USPP NE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT > ADD USPPNE
(ADD USPPNE).
Loading the Schema
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select menu Operation > Batch.
3. Click the (Import File) button to select and import the batch commands file of
Schema.
4. Click the (Run Batch) button to execute the commands in batch.
Loading the Schema
5. Perform the following operations to confirm the loading.
Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev
Configuration > Show UDS Dev > Show Schema Version Configuration (SHOW
SCHVER).
Click the Execute(F5) button or press F5 to execute this command confirm that the
latest version is what has been uploaded.

Adding a Rack
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Physical Configuration > Rack Configuration > Create Rack (ADD
RACK).
Adding a Shelf
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Physical Configuration > Shelf Configuration > Create SHELF
(ADD SHELF) to open the window shown in the following figure.
Adding a Unit

The sequence to create units and modules is as follows.


1. Add the UIMC unit.
2. Add modules other than OMP and RPU.
3. Add units other than UIMC.

1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Physical Configuration > Unit Configuration > Create Unit (ADD
UNIT).
Adding a Module
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Physical Configuration > Module Configuration > Create Module
(ADD MODULE).
Configuring TCP Transfer for TIPI
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Physical Configuration > TCP Transmit Configuration > Create
TCP Transmit (ADD TCPTRANS).
Setting the IP of the OMP module
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Global Data Configuration > Modify Global Data OMP
Information (SET OMP).
Adding a Service Server Node
1. On the NetNumen(TM)M30 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select the current working office node under root.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > Device
Configuration > Server Node Configuration > Back Server > Create Back Server
(ADD BACKSVR).

Adding a Database Node
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration. (USPP here
is a USPP node created by the CREATE USPP command).
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration > Database
Node Configuration > Create Database Node Configuration (ADD DBNODE).
Adding a DSA Node
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev
Configuration > DSA Node Configuration > DSA Node Configuration > Create DSA
Node Configuration (ADD DSANODE).
Setting DSA Node Options
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Node Configuration > DSA Node Option Configuration (SET DSANODEOPT).
Setting DSA Node Storage Configuration
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal to
open the MML Terminal window.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Node Configuration > DSA Node Storage Configuration > Create DSA Node
Storage Configuration (ADD DSANODESAV).
Adding a DSA
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev
Configuration > DSA Configuration > DSA Configuration > Create DSA
Configuration (ADD DSA).
Adding a DSA Member
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev
Configuration > DSA Configuration > DSA Member Configuration > Create DSA
Member Configuration (ADD DSACLU).
Setting DSA Options
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands navigation tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev
Configuration > DSA Configuration > DSA Option Configuration > Modify DSA
Option Configuration (SET DSAOPT).
Adding Subscriber Table Capacity
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Configuration > DSA Subscriber Capacity Configuration > Create DSA
Subscriber Capacity Configuration (ADD CAPSUB).
Adding an ID DSA Group
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal to
open the MML Terminal window.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Group Configuration > IDSA Group Configuration > Create IDSA Group
Configuration (ADD IDDSAGRP).
Distributing Numbers to an ID DSA
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Group Configuration > IDSA Distributing Configuration > Create IDSA
Distributing Configuration (ADD IDSAMAP).
Adding a P DSA Group
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
DSA Group Configuration > PDSA Group Configuration > Create PDSA Group
Configuration (ADD DSAGRP).
Setting UDS Load Control
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
Load Control Configuration > Modify Load Control Configuration (SET
LOADLEV).
Setting UDS Parameters
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > UDS Dev Configuration >
UDS Parameter Configuration > UDS Parameter Configuration > Modify UDS
Parameter Configuration (SET UDSPARA).

UDS Parameter Configuration > Subscriber Table Capacity Scale Configuration >
Modify Subscriber Table Capacity Scale Configuration (SET CAPSUBSCL).
Adding a DUA Node
1. On the NetNumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > MML Terminal.
2. Select NetNumen > USPP > Device Configuration > Public Device Configuration.
3. On the MML commands tree, select MML Commands > FE/Provision Configuration
> Create FE/Provision Configuration (ADD DUANODE).

Segment Configuration(ADD AGENTSLN).

1. On the Netnumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > Security
Management.
2. Select Role Management from the Security Tree.
3. Click the (Create Role) button to open the Create Role dialog box.
4. On the Basic Information tab, Set Role Name and Role Description.
5. On the Access Rights tab, set rights.

Maintenance > Data Transfer > Sync Data (Only Used By Admin) (SYNA).
Uploading EMS Configuration Data
1. On the Netnumen(TM) M31 main window, select menu Views > Daily Maintenance.
2. Select Daily Maintenance > USPP > Data Maintenance > Data Sync from the
navigation tree.
