Current Work in Progress

Continuing our SRP on non invasive glucose monitoring techniques we

are working on fabricating a sensor for measuring glucose levels in
blood.
Main reference is Hofmann et al paper titled: Microwave-Based
Noninvasive Concentration Measurements for Biomedical Applications
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=6480899
Objective is to develop a wrist mountable device for glucose monitoring
Already work done is to sweep the sample over a range of 0-40 Ghz. We
aim to find an optimal frequency to improve the sensor.

Proposed offshoot to research

In several papers it has been proposed that varying dielectric

coefficients using microwaves can detect a host of diseases, some
literature reviewed is as follows:

Typhoid and blood cholesterol levels:

Lymphatic filariasis: http://

Malaria:

Proposed plan

We plan to implement the same idea on a different.

Sodium concentration has been detected but it requires high sensitivity

A method has been explained in the paper

We can consult doctors for modelling skin and implement a model to
detect dehydration in human body
Above is one of the possibility among others
