MEETING IN CROATIA

May 2017
 The second project meeting of Erasmus+
project
Young Enterprising Europeans took palce in
Vinkovci, Croatia, from 21 April till 27 April 2017.
Host school was Osnovna kola Bartola Kaia. We
hosted 12 teachers and 26 pupils from partner
schools from Greece, Italy, Poland and Slovenia.
 Guest teachers were invited to
attend the award presenting
ceremony of the
13th national culinary competition
Zlatna jabuka. Afterwards
there were dinner and folk music
and dances.
 On Saturday teachers visited the
market and held lectures about the
project at the seminar Early Child
Developemnt through Intersectoral
Cooperation, which was a part of the
21st Health Fair in Vinkovci.
 Pupils sold products of
five partner schools
cooperatives at the stand.
 On Sunday we went on a trip. We visited:
Vukovar
Museum of Vuedol
Culture
Wine cellars in Ilok

Principovac
Monday at school:
ceramics workshop, making daisy
cream, working in the garden,
rehearsal of Road to Health.
 Teachers from all
five partner schools
conducted lessons in
English
 We visited the
birthhouse of
Croatian writer Ivan
Kozarac and open-
air exhibition of
scupltures.
 On Tuesday
students sold products
at the stand in the city
centre.
We donated all
the money we earned
during the project
meeting to the
Red Cross.
