Current issues being
addressed
The nflpa is negotiating a deal with the league to award 100
million to harvard university over 10 years of study and treat
players injuries.

The nflpa may be in liability to trauma injury for players.

Having issues on selecting a new CBA.


Reserve clause is when the club has the right to automatically
renew your contract until you retire.

Free agent is when a player is not bound by a contract so


therefore can join any team.
They both aimed to protect the rights and interests of their
people. One is only for sport players and the other is for labor
workers.

This Union was formed because the Football League had ratified a maximum wage for footballers in
1901 . This severely limited the opportunity to earn wages that allowed the best players in the country to
forgo the need to take paid employment outside of football. Until then, individual clubs had set their own
wage policies throughout the country.
To negotiate player deals and keep their best interest in mind.

their needs and can rely on them.

Negative outcomes are the union can take over any players
and deal anything on their behalf.
