Early Life
Wendy Mass grew up with a great family and had a great childhood.
Wendy was born in New Jersey. She was born on April 22, 1967. At first,
Wendy had no idea what she wanted to do but that all changed in high
school. Wendy Knew she had to be an author by high school and
through a lot of work, Wendy accomplished her dream! Now she is a
greatly known author that inspires boys and girls of all ages.
Education
Wendy was very well educated growing up. Wendy graduated at
Tufts University. At Tufts, she got a Bachelors of Art degree in English.
After that, she moved to California. There she went to school at
California State University at Long Beach. When she was there she got a
major in English. Wendy was, and still is, a very smart person.
Jobs
Growing up, Wendy had a lot of jobs. Though she knew she wanted
to be an author, she had to work hard and earn money to get there.
One of her jobs was a book editor. She was also a script reader for a
television producer. Another one of her jobs was a literary agent.
Currently, she is an author for young adults and kids. Wendy Mass had a
lot of talent growing up.
Family
Wendy grew up with a great family and still does. Currently she has
two children who are twins. Her husband's name is Michel. She also
grew up with two loving parents. Her moms name is Linda and her
dads name is Norman. Her wonderful family has created a great impact
on her life.
Books
Wendy Mass has created tons of wonderful books. As I already
mentioned, Wendy writes for young adults and kids. One of her most
gratified books is a book called A Mango Shaped Space. Its one many
awards along with another one of her books called Leap Day. Wendy
also writes non-fiction. One of her first nonfiction pieces is called
Women's Rights. Wendy has wrote many inspiring books.
Hobbies/Interest
Wendy Mass has many hobbies and interest. One of her many
interest is Television! She loves watching movies and T.V. One of her
favorite shows is called Seinfeld. Her favorite movie is The Princess
Bride. Her second favorite movie is Galaxy Quest. She got really into
science and astronomy after she wrote A Mango Shaped Space, which
involved a lot of research on that topic. Some more of her hobbies
include music, photography, and reading. Those are just a few of her
hobbies and interests.
What Is she Doing Right Now?
Wendy is a very busy person but here are a few things she has
going on right now. Right now, Wendy Mass is living with her family in
New Jersey. Very recently one of her new books called The
Candymakers and the Great Chocolate Chase came out. This book is
the newest book she has out. It came out on August 2, 2016. Wendy
always has something going on.
Fun Facts
Wendy Mass is a very interesting person. A fact most people dont
know about her is that as a kid she fell in love with the Narnia series.
They were some of her favorite books. Another fun fact is that most of
her awards she was given were from the New York Public Library. Did
you Know that all of your books have been adapted into auto books as
well? They have and they are great for auditory learners. In conclusion
Wendy has tons of interesting facts about her and her books.
