Caramel Cookies

The characteristic presentation is two


disks of baked flour dough and joined by
a layer of white delicacy (dulce de
leche). They are covered with impalpable
sugar. There are also cornstarch.

There are multiple copies of this


Ingredients
kilo of unprepared flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
kilo of butter
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
4 tablespoons of liquid (can be
two of milk and two of water).
1 yolk

Filling:
White Manjar or Dulce de Leche
(quantity required)
Preparation
Sift the flour and powdered sugar, make a
hole in the center and add butter, mix with
a fork until it is sandy, add liquid and egg
yolk. Knead lightly until ingredients are
integrated and form a uniform dough.
Store in plastic bag and refrigerate for
hour. Remove from the cold and proceed
to stretch the dough with roller. Preheat
the oven for 15 minutes, bake at 150
degrees for 15 minutes.
Once the cookies are cold, fill with the
manjar.
