Service Selection Board(SSB)
Day I: Screening Test
Students who cleared Written exam will be called for
Service Selection Board via call letter
On arriving at Service Selection Board candidates
Documents are verified
Reasoning and Aptitude Test is held (Objective Type)
Picture Perception and description test (PPDT) held
Write a story on picture shown via Projector also identify
characters
Group Discussion held on story written
Result for day I declared
Day 2-5: Stage 2

Interview
Candidates called one by one from day 2 to 5 for

Question related candidate and military, current
affairs
Day 2:Psychologist Test

1. 12 pictures shown & asked to write story on each


Thematic Apperception Test(TAT)
2. Last picture is blank, you have to imagine it
3. Word association test(WAT) 60 words shown &
write sentence on each word in 15 sec
4. Situation Reaction Test(SRT):60 different situations
given & write what will you do (Duration 1hr)
5. Self descriptive Test: comments of friends , teachers
and Parents about candidate
Group Task
Group Discussion on two topics
Group Planning exercise : Situation to whole group
given
Lecture on given topic on the spot
Group obstacle: half group task and full group task
Whole group needs to pass obstacles using rope plank
Command task: two other candidates give for
obstacle task
Pilot Aptitude battery test: Written and Practical on
machine (Compulsory)
Conference: All evaluator sit together
