A BNC is a type of connector commonly used in tv production. The male and


female cords both lock together with a 1/4 - turn twist.
XLR

A XLR connector is a connector for microphones that have 3-pins.The male


and female ends lack together with a hook.

Male Jack
RCA Phono

A RCA Phono connector is where you find your home entertainment system
components on the back.The female cord is mainly a chassis mounted
connected. The male phono connector is usually a cable and connector with
a single center surrounded by a shorter crown.
Y/C Connector

A Y/C connector is a video input and output connector that is


characterized by four tiny round pins and a rectangular plastic
stabilizing pin.
USB and Firewire
USB, better known as Universal Serial Bus, is a cable used to connect
computers to devices, such as cell phones, cameras, etc. The cord is used
to import certain files from the devices onto the computer. A firewire
connector is used to connect peripherals to your computer.
Barrel Adapter

A barrel adapter is an adapter that has the same type of connector and
connector end on both sides.
T-Connector and F-Connector

A T - Connector is a connector that is shaped like the capital letter T.


It mainly consist of a metallic build and is used to combine two signals
into one.

A F - Connector is a type of connector that carries an RF ( radio


frequency ) signal.
