Meaning:
Communication is a process of transferring
information from one entity to another.
Communication is commonly defined as "the
imparting or interchange of thoughts, opinions, or
information by speech writing, or signs".
Communication is an exchange and
progression of thoughts, feelings or ideas towards a
mutually accepted goal or direction
Types of Communication
Communication classified into two types.
1.Verbal Communication:
Verbal communication is the one way
for people to communicate Face-To-Face. Some of the
key components of verbal communications are sound,
speaking, words and language
2.Non-Verbal communication:
Non-Verbal communication is the
process of communication through sending and receiving
Wordless massage. Such massage can be communicate
through gesture, body language, facial expression, eye
conduct.
Communication Management
Meaning:
Communications management is the systematic
planning, implementing, monitoring, and revision of all the
channels of communication within an organization, and between
organizations. It also includes the organization and
dissemination of new communication directives connected with
an organization, network, or communications technology.
Aspects of communications management include developing
corporate communication strategies, designing internal and
external communications directives, and managing the flow of
information, including online communication. New technology
forces constant innovation on the part of communications
managers.

Communication Planning
Meaning:
Communication planning is the art and science of
reaching target audiences using marketing communication
channels such as advertising, public relations, experiences
or direct mail.
For Ex:
It is concerned with deciding who to
target, when, with what message and how.
Communication Plans
The Communication Plan serves as a guide to
the communication and sponsorship efforts throughout the
duration of the project. It is a living and working
document and is updated periodically as audience needs
change.
A communication plan includes:
“Who” - The Target Audience
“What” – The Key Messages that are trying to be articulated
“When” – Timing, it will specify the appropriate time of
delivery for each message
“Why” – The Desired Outcomes
“How” - The Communication Vehicle (how the message
will be delivered)
Call Accounting
Meaning:
A Call Accounting System is a telecommunications
software or hardware application that captures, records,
and costs telephone usage events. Internationally call
accounting systems may be referred to as call logging
systems. Call accounting systems detect outbound and
inbound calls, call ring outs, call routings, abandoned
calls, and other activities..

Meaning:
Organizational communication is a subfield of the
larger discipline of communication studies. Organizational
communication, as a field, is the consideration, analysis,
and criticism of the role of communication in
organizational contexts.
Communications networks
Networks are another aspect of direction and flow of
communication. Bevels has shown that communication
patterns, or networks, influence groups in several important
ways. Communication networks may affect the group's
completion of the assigned task on time, the position of the de
facto leader in the group, or they may affect the group
members' satisfaction from occupying certain positions in the
network.
