of the rules of the future will
USE OF SIMPLE FUTURE

The simple future tense is used to describe

actions that will develop in the future without
the need to clarify at what point will occur
A common form of the future in
English has the following structure:
Subject + WILL + Verb

I will play / yo jugar

In the interrogative form the order of subject

and auxiliary are reversed:

Will you play? / Jugars?

The structured form of the interrogative-

negative form is:

Auxiliary + not (WILL NOT or WONT) +

subject

Wont you play? / No jugars?

THE PROGRESSIVE FUTURE

This form of the future is used more

frequently in English than in Spanish. Its
structure is as follows:

Subject + future of to be + gerund of the verb

to be conjugated
You Will be flying to Paris tomorrow at this
hour.
Maana a esta hora estars volando hacia
pars.
Example:

I am so I will get you

Sleepy some coffee
and tired
Although also it can express the
time in which the action will be
developed.

Example:

People will use Advanced

technology in 2020.
This tense uses for its construction the auxiliary WILL followed by the main
verb in the infinitive.

Then we will see future simple configuration in the affirmative,

interrogative and negative form.

We will use the verb TO DANCE

SIMPLE FUTURE (FUTURO SIMPLE)

Modo Afirmativo Modo Interrogativo Modo Negativo

I Will dance / Yo bailar Will I dance? / Bailar yo? I Will not Dance / Yo no bailar

You Will dance Will You dance? You Will not Dance

He Will dance Will He dance? He Will not Dance

She Will dance Will She dance? She Will not Dance

It Will dance Will It dance? It Will not Dance

We Will dance Will we dance? We Will not Dance

You Will dance Will you dance? You Will not Dance

They Will dance Will They dance? They Will not Dance
It can also be used in affirmative sentence
the contraction of WILL placing 'll to the
pronoun and in negative sentence rather
than WILL NOT can be used the contracted
form WONT :

He Wont arrive on time.

El no llegar a tiempo
Example of will / won't :

I think it will be sunny tomorrow.

Creo que va a hacer sol maana

She believes she will win the lottery

Ella cree que va a ganar la lotera
CONCLUSIONS

It is used to make predictions for the future

We use this structure to make spontaneous

decisions ( S.I. I'm tired . I'll go to bed ) .

We should note that we use the full form in the

affirmative short answers , while we use the
contracted form in the negative short answers .
