We use this tense to talk about habits, routines, and general


truths. Some time words are: every day/month/year, always,
usually, never,etc.
Simple past tense

Affirmative Negative Interrogative

did= question in past.
Regular verb: add d/ed/ied
didn’t = No in past.
at the end of the verb. Did he work in France?
I didn’t work in a university Did he teach French?
I worked in a school in 2005 I didn’t teach Italian.
I taught Spanish there. Teach = in present
tense infinitive form.
Irregular verb: keep or Change Teach = in present

We use this tense to talk about


finished actions in the past with time words
like yesterday, last year, 1985, etc.

Will= question in future.
WILL: Indicates affirmative future idea.. won’t = No in future.
Will he work in Rome?
I won’t work in a restaurant. Will he teach Italian?
I will work in Paris next Year I won’t teach Science
I will teach Spanish there. Teach = in present
Present: all the verbs tense infinitive form.
Present: all the verbs that follow won’t go in

Some time words are tomorrow,next month/week/year, etc.
