Computer generated imagery

Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is the application of computer graphics to create or contribute to
images in art, printed media, video games, films, television programs, shorts, commercials, videos, and
simulators.

Terminator Salvation (2009)

The use of CGI in the Terminator film is a great
example of just how much computer generated effects
and live footage vary in a film as such. It also allows us
to see how the computer generated images has such
a great quality that it gives a real effect.
Colour Grading
Color grading is the process of altering and enhancing the color of a motion picture, video image, or
still image electronically, photo-chemically or digitally. Color grading encompasses both color
correction and the generation of artistic color effects. In teen melodrama when colour grading is used
it's usually dark dull colours such as grey to give the feeling of sadness and sympathy for a
character.
