This document discusses how to integrate leased assets into asset accounting in SAP. It requires new customizing such as creating a new depreciation area and associated accounts. When a leased asset is purchased through materials management, the acquisition value will need to be loaded into asset accounting separately rather than automatically. Reports can then show the essential leased asset information.

5. CONSTRUCT A LSMW OR PROGRAM TO MAKE THE DATA LOAD NEED.
How it work BASED ON THE LEASING MASTER DATA THERE IS A COMPLICATED CALCULATION TO DEFINE THE INTEREST FOR THE NEW ASSET LEASE CONTRACT. How it work THE AMOUNT WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEW INTEREST ACCOUNT FOR THIS NEW DEPRECIATION AREA. THE BASE OF THE CALCULATION IS EXPLAINED BY SAP NOTE 458641. Report EXAMPLE OF MASTER DATA (AS02/AS03) Report S_ALR_87010139 Report THIS REPORT HAS ONLY THE ESSENTIAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE LEASING.
