CLINICAL SYMPTOMS

Itchy at night and when the patient's body temperature is warm


Onset scabies usually occur 3-4 weeks after infection
The most common lesion is burrows appear as small brownish-looking
lesions.
Papules or inflammatory pruritic nodules sometimes coincide with
burrows in the male external genital area.
The location of the lesion is generally located on the sidelines of the
fingers, flexor surfaces of the wrist, elbow, axilla, buttocks and
genitalia and breasts in women.

DIAGNOSE

Diagnosis can be made by finding 2 of the 4 cardinal signs as


follows:
1. Pruritus nocturna
2. This disease attacks a group of people
3. The presence of a tunnel (kunikulus) in places of predilection
4. Finding mites is the most supportive of the diagnosis
